New Student Performing Art Center celebrates the art culture of the Fenway area. The architecture of the Center is defined by a concavely curved domes resembling circus tents and expressing the theme of Celebration and Spectacle. On the outside, the Center aims to attract visitors not only through form, but also through materiality, open and transparent ground level, and translucent and illuminated first level. On the inside, space is envisioned as open and flowy to allow numerous art exhibitions and with exposed steel structure introduce the architecture as a comprehensive part of the art experience.
